Royal Challengers Bangalore, also known as RCB, is the Bengaluru based cricket franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is owned by Royal Challengers Sports Pvt. Ltd. The team is owned by United Spirits Limited, a Diageo Group company. The present logo with the majestic lion illustrates and brings alive RCB’s philosophy, a bold and fearless attitude of playing exciting cricket. It balances the simplicity and ‘iconicity’ of the lion to create the next chapter for one of India’s most iconic sports team. The visual identity embodies the bold pride and challenger spirit, qualities that each RCB team members bring to the team. The RCB logo in gold, fawn, black and red has a pictorial - lion standing on two hind legs and two front legs are up in the air. In the banner arching below, ‘Bangalore’ is written and at the bottom the name of the team in classic serif typeface is written in white on black and underlined with a red line.

The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
