The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune) is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Its insignia has a red lotus with its petals looking like pages of a book emerging from a black dot symbolising the stakeholders - student, teachers and society, supported by its acronym and place in sans serif bold and normal typeface.

MAULANA MAZHARUL HAQUE ARABIC AND PERSIAN UNIVERSITY Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic And Persian University (MMHAPU) Patna was established under the provisions of the Bihar State Universities Act. 1976. The cyan, green and red emblem of the university has a plaque with rising sun above flowing waters supported by two palm trees and crested its motto in Arabic ‘طلب العلم فريضة’ meaning ‘Seeking Knowledge is an Obligation’. It is circumscribed by its name in Arabic and Devanagari in green and cyan. At the bottom, on a banner its year of establishment is written. The rising sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the palm trees symbolise peace, abundance and victory and the flowing waters denote passage of time and life.
