FOOD SAFETY CONNECT PORTAL

In order to secure National Food Safety and to bring each citizen onboard to share their concerns regarding food safety violations, this portal allows a consumer to share their concerns, know their rights, track Food Business Operators (FBOs) License and Registration Certificate authenticity and view related articles/videos on food safety. As a consumer, one has certain rights with regards to the food and food products he purchases. She also has a redressal mechanism that helps him. The Food Safety Connect Portal is available at foscos.fssai.gov.in/consumergrievance. The logo of FosCo portal has an interesting pictorial logo, which is circular. It has two leaves supporting a rising sun inside a circle, it is surrounded by three different persons joining together in three different shades of green. The three persons represent food business operators, consumers and the regulatory agency (government).
