Max India Limited was originally incorporated as ‘Advaita Allied Health Services Limited’ on January 23, 2019 as an unlisted public company under the Companies Act, 2013. Its logo is the Max flame. Rooted in the Indian idiom, it is suitable for an organization proud of its origins. It is rendered in an international, contemporary style, representative of our global orientation. It is an appropriate face for a group that is firmly on the fast growth track, but for which, commitment to principles and values will always remain ascendant. The Max flame is representative of many qualities. As it burns, it represents enterprise and ambition. Its steadfast quality embodies hope, commitment, care, warmth and service. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
