SAFE & NUTRITIOUS FOOD

FSSAI initiative ‘Safe and Nutritious Food at School’ is a nation-wide campaign to help school children inculcate the habit of eating safe and eating right. The ‘Yellow Book’ is the resource book for this campaign and it will help children learn about safe and wholesome food in a fun and interactive way, through curricular and extracurricular activities. The Yellow Book has two volumes, one for primary and the other for secondary school students respectively. An excellent Teacher Training Manual is also available. These books and more can be downloaded from FSSAI’s Citizen’s Portal. The FSSAI’s Project SNF@SCHOOL is based on a three-pronged approach, at the school, state and national level. The logo of S&NF has a four petalled flower, each representing parent, student, school and teacher in magenta, yellow, violet and orange colours, with FSSAI forming its centre. The name of the project, its tagline 'A Shared Responsibility' and the address of the website is written below.

MAULANA MAZHARUL HAQUE ARABIC AND PERSIAN UNIVERSITY Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic And Persian University (MMHAPU) Patna was established under the provisions of the Bihar State Universities Act. 1976. The cyan, green and red emblem of the university has a plaque with rising sun above flowing waters supported by two palm trees and crested its motto in Arabic ‘طلب العلم فريضة’ meaning ‘Seeking Knowledge is an Obligation’. It is circumscribed by its name in Arabic and Devanagari in green and cyan. At the bottom, on a banner its year of establishment is written. The rising sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the palm trees symbolise peace, abundance and victory and the flowing waters denote passage of time and life.
