Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati, Manipur (IIIT-Manipur) is an institution under Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India. It was established in 2015 in order to develop Manipur as a preferred destination for Information Technology (IT) related manpower and industry. Its emblem has a blue circle representing globe, in which the acronym ‘IIIT Manipur' is written. The acronym is supported by 'm' in the form of waves symbolising information technology and a multicolour swoosh goes through the centre of the globe meaning the dynamism and its vibrancy in the field of IT education.
