The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a centre of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas. The institute was conferred the ‘Deemed University’ status by the Government of India in the year 2000. The emblem of IIT-A has ‘@’ spreading its reach symbolising the reach of information technology, which is ensconced by a horn like shape of water representing the ‘Triveni’ tri-junction of rivers and the acronym and name of the city at its bottom, supported by a pair of red handles representing the control ‘handles of a gaming console. At the bottom of the emblem on a white border its tagline in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्ञानम् ब्रह्म’ meaning ‘Consciousness is Brahman'.

U.P. RAJARSHI TANDON OPEN UNIVERSITY The U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU), Allahabad, was established on March 24, 1999. It is named after Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purusottam Das Tandon ji, an illustrious son of Mother India. Its circular logo in yellow and red has motifs of shining sun in red colour and two joyous humans holding hands and books are supported by rivers flowing from left and right. These are ensconced in a yellow border on which the name of the university and its place are written. This is placed on a red colour pedestal on which its motto in Sanskrit ‘सरस्वती नः सुभगा मयस्करतुः’ meaning ‘May Saraswati Bless us with Good Fortune’ is inscribed. The shining sun signifies light, universal prosperity and path for growth; water denotes the rivers of the land and its vitality in life and the two humans holding books signifies the nature of the open university and its courses. MAHARASHTRA STATE CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD (MSC BANK) The blue colour emblem of Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd (MSC Bank) has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using a pair of bullocks and plough with rising sun atop and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत् फलाय् सहकारिता’ meaning ‘Public Benefit Through Cooperation’ ensconced by a gear wheel. At the bottom of the gear wheel, in a circle, a motif of handshake is placed and a pair of crests of cereal support the emblem.
