Established in 1987, Plastindia Foundation is the apex body of major associations, organisations and institutions connected with plastics, with common objectives to promote the development of the plastics industry and to assist the growth of plastics and related materials. Its logo has a pictorial of multi coloured molten plastic moulded in a circular mould supported by its tagline ‘Progress Through Plastics’ written around its bottom.

The name and place of the college is written around the circle. A purple laurel supports the seal. The mountain range and landscape reflects the mighty Shivalik hills and Himalayas that surround the Udhampur region in Jammu and Kashmir. In the border at the top 'ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ' in Kannada  meaning ‘Work is Worship’ and at the bottom ‘JSS Maha Vidyapeetha’ are written. These are further circumscribed by three pairs of two overlapping arrows in orange and blue forming a revolving pattern also forming a hexagon. The emblem denotes constant evolution and growth.
