FOOD SAFETY KNOWLEDGE ASSIMILATION NETWORK

FSSAI has established the Food Safety Knowledge Assimilation Network (FSKAN). This is a system of network of organisations with the aim to facilitate a scientific cooperation framework by the co-ordination of activities, the exchange of information, the development and implementation of joint projects within the Food Authority’s responsibility. Its logo has a network of five symbols namely, test tube for testing; atomic structure for comprehensive study; plant for edible items; a microscope for examination and a lens for scrutiny and analysing. Its acronym and name are placed inside the network.

The circular emblem of the university has an orange eight toothed gear wheel bearing the university’s name in Meiteilon ensconcing the motifs of a pair of gear wheels, a student with mortarboard hat and a rising sun in the background of Kanglasha - Nongsaba, i.e. half lion and half dragon.
