FOOD SAFETY KNOWLEDGE ASSIMILATION NETWORK

FSSAI has established the Food Safety Knowledge Assimilation Network (FSKAN). This is a system of network of organisations with the aim to facilitate a scientific cooperation framework by the co-ordination of activities, the exchange of information, the development and implementation of joint projects within the Food Authority’s responsibility. Its logo has a network of five symbols namely, test tube for testing; atomic structure for comprehensive study; plant for edible items; a microscope for examination and a lens for scrutiny and analysing. Its acronym and name are placed inside the network.

XAVIER'S COLLEGE, DUMKA (SXCD) The emblem of St. Xavier's College, Dumka (SXCD) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of ‘IHS’ monogram within a sun, a traditional lamp and an open book supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘To Enlighten and To Empower’. This assemblage is ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; sunburst with IHS is the Jesuit seal and it represents the name of Jesus. It is derived from the first three letters of Jesus' name in Greek (ΙΗΣ); the lamp symbolises enlightenment, removal of ignorance and the light of the world; and the book is a universal symbol for learning, education, and the spread of knowledge.

GIRIDIH COLLEGE, GIRIDIH The emblem of Giridih College, Giridih features a circle with four panels housing the motifs of a banyan tree, rising sun, a miner with a pickaxe and a range of mountains supported by a pair of stalks of grain. The name of the college and its motto are written in Devanagari on a circular border around the motifs.
