FOOD SAFETY KNOWLEDGE ASSIMILATION NETWORK

FSSAI has established the Food Safety Knowledge Assimilation Network (FSKAN). This is a system of network of organisations with the aim to facilitate a scientific cooperation framework by the co-ordination of activities, the exchange of information, the development and implementation of joint projects within the Food Authority’s responsibility. Its logo has a network of five symbols namely, test tube for testing; atomic structure for comprehensive study; plant for edible items; a microscope for examination and a lens for scrutiny and analysing. Its acronym and name are placed inside the network.

The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of laurels supports the border. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge & Empowerment’ is written. Established in 1976, NIC is a part of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India. KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL's Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be six elevated stations and six underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah.
