The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) was established in 1998 by a Statute of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Since its inception, the University has been home to vital conversations on law and justice. Its emblem has a brightly glowing traditional lamp supported by a book on a reading stand, crested by its motto in Sanskrit ‘धर्मे सर्वम् प्रतिष्ठितम्’ meaning ‘All things are Lawful in God’ and supported on both the sides by laurels. At the bottom on a banner ‘NALSAR’ and its place ‘Hyderabad’ is written.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.

The name of the college is written on the right in blue bold serif capitals.The tagline of the college ‘For a Quantum Leap in Degree Engineering’ is written below the name in red script letters. An abstract depiction of the holy river Prachi supports the tilak. The motifs are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. The seal is placed on a decorated platform. SPINTRONIC TECHNOLOGY & ADVANCE RESEARCH (STAR) The emblem of Spintronic Technology & Advance Research (STAR) features a yellow and bluetoned star inscribed with the college’s acronym encircled by fifteen stars in yellow, red and blue shades. On a blue ribbon placed below the star, the name and place of the college are written. The large star represents the acronym ‘STAR’ and reflects the institution's vision for students to ‘sparkle in the galaxy of technological arena’. It symbolises the ‘conquering of all frontiers’ in technical education and the aim for students to become leading luminaries.
