The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was established by the Government of India in 1963 with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Labor Organization (ILO). NITIE's campus has earned it the moniker ‘God's Own Campus’. NITIE offers Post Graduate Diplomas in Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability Management. All the courses offered at NITIE are full time residential courses with immersive academic and industry interaction. Its logo, the eternal flame, serves as a totem for our vision of being the thought leader in industrial engineering education and research and partner in the nation's manufacturing renaissance. It also stands for its mission to advance transformative education and industry-inspired research in industrial engineering. Its motto ‘उद्योग प्रगति’ meaning ‘Industry Progress’ is given on a banner at the bottom of the logo.
