The founder of Aachi Masala Foods (P) Ltd., Mr. A. D. Padmasingh, grew up observing his mother diligently cooking meal after meal each day, even while taking care of every other requirements at home. This ignited a deep desire in him to ‘make life easier for women at home’. In 1995, the idea of Aachi took shape to procure, prepare and pack spices, masala powders and ready-to-cook food products. Its logo in red background with thick yellow borders has its name written in white using bold font with thick serifs in upper and lower cases. Its tagline ‘The Mother of Good Taste’ supports the seal.

It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. The motto in Urdu ‘زندگی شمع کی صورت ہو خدایا میری’, which translates to ‘O God! May My Life Be Like That of a Candle’. The chinar leaf refers to Jammu and Kashmir, the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lighted candle symbolises enlightenment and the removal of darkness (ignorance), representing how knowledge guides a student's path and spreads light into society.
