The blue colour emblem of Central Institute for Research on Goats (CIRG) is pictorial in which a goat with horns is depicted in abstract form. Its acronym ‘CIRG’ forms the crest of the pictorial and its Devanagari acronym supports it. A motif of sun is placed in the centre of the logo denoting light, universal prosperity and path for growth.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism).
