The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gear wheels refer to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the computer refers to engineering and technology.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’.
