The emblem of S. L. N. College of Engineering (SLNCE) is a shield featuring the motifs of spool of thread, a shuttle, a transmission tower, a computer, a partial gearwheel, and building blocks referring to subject disciplines of engineering. Above the motifs, the motto of the College ‘Lighted to Enlighten’ supported by a pair of traditional lamps is written and on a banner placed across the shield, the name of the college is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery;; and the lamps are symbols of light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
