The emblem of K.N.S Institute of technology (KNSIT) features a globe of the world with a gear wheel, a structural tower, a computer and a satellite dish antenna referring to the subject disciplines of engineering. The name of the managing Trust surmounts the globe and on a green plaque, the initials ‘KNS’ is inscribed. The emblem is supported by a set of fives leaves on each side and the name of the college is written at the bottom. The globe refers to education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the green leaves denote eternity, fidelity, and strong attachment.

INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country.
