The shield is supported on sides by a floral vine; above a banner inscribed with ‘AIT’ and below with two banners inscribed with its name and place respectively. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the vine symbolises love, growth, resilience, and interconnectedness; and the other motifs signifies the subject disciplines of engineering.
