The circular seal of SG Balekundri Institute of Technology (SGBIT) features a gearwheel holding the motifs of a computer, an electrical transmission tower, a water dam and a structure of an atom referring to the subject disciplines of engineering supported by the name ‘SSET’s SGBIT Belagavi’. The gearwheel is placed on a yellow circle with orange outlines inscribed with the name of the college, the name of the managing trust  and its motto ‘Work is Worship’ and its Kannada version ‘ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ’. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
