The logo of Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) features the emblem of the Dayananda Sagar Trust supported by its name on the right. The yellow and cyan circular emblem features a bi-colour shield in bright yellow and cyan. On the yellow portion it has the images of a book, Mahatma Gandhi and sun symbolising knowledge and learning; leadership and character and shine and remain like a sun benefiting humanity. The portion below in cyan background has an upward pointing arrow with cyan dots representing the institutions under the trust and within it nine upward pointing triangles representing each college. The acronym ‘DSU’ is placed below this supported by a lotus. The shield is ensconced by a circular border which has its name, place and year of establishment.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed.
