The oval-shaped emblem of Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology (MRIT) features a large tree with its roots spread, crested by a swan with its wings spread and supported by a pair of elated humans placed in an oval. The oval is surmounted by the name of the Institute, supported by a pair of laurels on the sides, and a blue banner inscribed with the name of the managing Trust at the bottom. The tagline of the college ‘Inspiring Success…’is written below the banner. The tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the swan is sacred and are symbols of grace and beauty ; the humans refer to the students who are the beneficiaries of the college; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
