The yellow circular emblem of Cauvery Institute of Technology (CIT) features a pair of hands in green colour holding the motifs of an open book, a crane, a building, a pair of cooling towers, a set of gearwheels, surveying equipment, a compass and the image of Goddess Cauvery. The motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering education being ably supported by the college. The name of the college surmounts the circle and its motto in Kannada ‘ಕತ್ತಲಿನಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನೆಡೆಗೆ’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ inscribed on a banner placed at the bottom.

TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), was established by an Act (No. 30) of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2008. The emblem of the university has a motif of a pair of green flying birds motif supporting the acronym of the name and place of the university are placed in a circular orange vignette background. These are ensconced by a half white and half red border which bears the name of the university in English and Devanagari respectively. On a banner with orange tones, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सम्यक् दर्शन, सम्यक् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र' meaning ‘Right philosophy, Right knowledge, Right character’ is inscribed in black. The green flying bird symbols mean good luck, hope, joy, new beginnings, renewal and healing.

MANGALORE UNIVERSITY The emblem of Mangalore University (MU) depicts its geography, history and tradition through a number of motifs. In the centre of a circle the motifs of rising sun above mountains and waterbody and trees are  placed representing the geography of the locale. It is ensconced by a yellow circular border on which its name is inscribed in Kannada and English. The circular seal is crested by a colourful headgear or ‘kirita’ of the famous folk dance form ‘Yakshagana’ and supported on either side by coffee plant branches with leaves and fruits for which the city and the State of Karnataka are famous for. At the bottom of the insignia, on a blue banner the motto of the university in Kannada ‘ಜ್ಞಾನವೇ-ಬೆಳಕು’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Light’ is inscribed.
