The arc spanning above the central elements represents the foundation or overarching principles of the institution. The five circular insets - gearwheel, building structure, abstract geometric pattern, a computer and a satellite dish antenna below the arch and surrounding the central gold coin represent different fields of study or areas of focus within the institute. The coin is supported by a pair of brushes on sides symbolising creativity, innovation, and the tools of learning and design.
