The emblem of Hirasugar Institute of Technology, Nidasosi (HSIT) features a central gold coin with a crown and holding an open book on a traditional lamp symbolises knowledge, wisdom, and the pursuit of higher education, with the crown symbolising excellence and achievement in academics. The arc spanning above the central elements represents the foundation or overarching principles of the institution. The five circular insets - gearwheel, building structure, abstract geometric pattern, a computer and a satellite dish antenna below the arch and surrounding the central gold coin represent different fields of study or areas of focus within the institute. The coin is supported by a pair of brushes on sides symbolising creativity, innovation, and the tools of learning and design.

The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’.
