The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the eagle symbolises power, courage, wisdom, freedom, and majesty; and the pencil and the pen denote freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence.
