The shield-shaped emblem of BWDA College of Arts And Science (BWDA College) features a wheel, a profile of a cattle, a person with mortarboard hat, a factory, a a satellite dish antenna and a computer surmounted by a the name of the college, supported on sides by a pair of laurels on side, supported by an open book and a traditional lamp at the bottom. Below the shield, on a red banner the motto of the college ‘Arise and Awake’ is inscribed. The shield  denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the wheel symbolises motion, dynamism and perpetuity; the cattle refers to agriculture and farmer, the person with mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
