THE QUAIDE MILLETH COLLEGE FOR MEN (QMCMEN)

The emblem of The Quaide Milleth College for Men (QMCMen) features a green gearwheel inscribed with the quote from Quran in Arabic ‘مَن يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا ’ (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:269) meaning ‘And whoever is granted wisdom has certainly been granted much Good’ and its motto ‘The Quest’. In the counter of the wheel is a dome of a mosque, an open book, an ink pot with a quill pen and a two pan beam balance. The colour green and the dome refers to the religious affiliation of the college and divine blessings and guidance; the book refers to education, learning and wisdom; the ink pot and pen refers to the heritage of learning, reading and writing; and the balance scale refers to justice, equality and fairness.
