The emblem of C.S Jain College of Education (CSJCE) features a circle housing the motifs of a traditional lamp, a veena and an open book ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels on sides and a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Live and Let Live’ at the bottom. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the veena symbolises music, culture and heritage; the book symbolises knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
