The cyan shield-shaped emblem of Caussanel College of Arts and Science (Caussanel College) features an open book, a cross and a red heart in a white circle circumscribed by the name of the college. The motto of the college ‘The Wise Shall Inherit Glory’ and a stripe of 12 stars surmounts the circle. A pair of laurels support the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the cross represents crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ in Christianity, symbolising ultimate sacrifice, divine love, and redemption; the heart deep symbolises love, romantic passion, affection, and strong positive sentiments; the laurels are are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the stripe of stars represent the ideals of unity, solidarity, and harmony.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
