The emblem of Thiagarajar College of Preceptors (TCP) features a brown shield housing the motifs of a temple with gopuram, a veena, a traditional lamp, and an open book with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘கல்வியே செல்வம்’ meaning ‘Education is the Wealth’ cresting the shield. The name of the is written on the right of the shield in thin sans-serif capitals. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the temple with gopuram symbolises divine blessings and guidance; the veena refers to arts, heritage and music; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the book refers to education, learning and wisdom.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
