The emblem of the Unique Arts and Science college (UASC) features a blue globe inscribed with orange and red humans with mortarboard hats supported by an open book. The seal is ensconced by a pair of laurels, surmounted by the name of the college ‘Universal Quality Education’ and supported by a blue banner inscribed with its name ‘Unique’. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the humans with mortarboard hats or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage of the students; the book refers to education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
