The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the star represents perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book refers to education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
