The emblem of Thiruvalluvar Teachers Education College (TTEC) features an image of Tamil Poet Thiruvalluvar supported by the motto of the college ‘Learn Earn Serve’ and ensconced by a pair of concentric circular borders inscribed with the name and details of the managing Trust and the name and place of the college. This assemblage is placed inside a gearwheel. Below the wheel, on a banner, the year of establishment of the college and the motifs of an open book and a computer are inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book book  refers to education, learning and wisdom; and the computer represents science and technology.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner.
