The circular seal of Jain Acharya Shri Gunadharanandi Maharaj Institute of Technology (JAGMI) features a yellow circle housing the images of nine Jain Thirthankarars or revered Jain ascetics placed on a semicircle with a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Kannda ‘ವಿದ್ಯೆಯೇ ವಿನಯನ ಕೋಲತ’ meaning ‘Education is The Ornament of Humility’ on a banner with the acronym of the college ‘JAGMI’ placed at the bottom. The circle is circumscribed with the name of the managing trust ‘SDM Jain Matt Trust’ and ‘Jain Agmit Jamkhandi’. The multiple figures within the emblem represent Jain Tirthankaras or revered Jain ascetics, symbolising the core tenets of Jainism, including non-violence (Ahimsa), truthfulness (Satya), non-stealing (Asteya), chastity (Brahmacharya), and non-possessiveness (Aparigraha). The circular shape and central placement of the figures within a stylised structure suggest a holistic approach to education and the strong foundation of Jain philosophy underpinning the institutions.
