The open book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp with flame symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the brown colour signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
