The oval is surmounted by its name and supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्याधनं सर्वधनप्रधानम्’ (Niti Satakam, Bhartihari), which translates to ‘Wealth of Education is the Supreme of all the Wealth’. The two central figures with uplifted, connecting arms symbolise togetherness, team spirit and a friendly learning environment. For a teacher-training institute, this highlights the collaborative bond between educators and learners. The green oval shape symbolises growth, vibrancy and holistic personal development. It also echoes the eco-friendly, lush green campus environment that characterizes the college.

The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’.
