ACCESSIBLE INDIA CAMPAIGN
Accessible India Campaign (AIC) is a nationwide flagship campaign of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The motive behind the campaign is to make a barrier-free and conducive environment for Divyangjans (Specially abled) all over the country.  It was launched on December 3, 2015. The logo of this campaign depicts a person on a wheelchair and is designed with the theme of colours of the Indian National Flag.

The Staff of Caduceus is a highly recognised symbol in modern healthcare and nursing education, historically associated with communication, balance and the facilitation of healing and it serves as an insignia for medical branches and nursing institutions across the globe. The letters ‘C’ and ‘V’ stand for Chenab Valley, which is the alternative historical name for the institution (Chenab Valley Medical College) due to its geographic placement nestled within the majestic Chenab Valley hills.
