ACCESSIBLE INDIA CAMPAIGN
Accessible India Campaign (AIC) is a nationwide flagship campaign of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The motive behind the campaign is to make a barrier-free and conducive environment for Divyangjans (Specially abled) all over the country.  It was launched on December 3, 2015. The logo of this campaign depicts a person on a wheelchair and is designed with the theme of colours of the Indian National Flag.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mountains range refer to local geography with the ragged peaks represent the Trikuta and Himalayan mountain ranges flanking the Jammu region; the Staff of Caduceus refers to medicine, healing and medical profession; the green cross symbolises first aid, medical assistance, safety and hospital care.
