SARADA VILAS COLLEGE

Sarada Vilas College, located in the heart of the city of Mysore, was established in the year 1945 as an Intermediate college. Seven years later, it was upgraded as a Degree college. The college, affiliated to the University of Mysore. Its oval shaped emblem has Goddess Saraswathi ensconced in a border on which ‘Sarda Vilas College’ and ‘Education Kindles Knowledge’ are written in red colour. It has a pair of lamps as separators.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
