The emblem of JSPM's Bhagwant Institute of Technology (BIT Barshi) features an image of Bhagwant Mandir or temple dedicated to Shri Vishnu, a computer, a satellite dish antenna, and a house ensconced by a gearwheel and supported by a red banner inscribed with the name of the Institute. The name of the managing Trust surmounts the assemblage and the name of the place is written at the bottom. The image of Lord Bhagwant which is the only temple of Shri Vishnu all over India having Shri Vishnu’s name as Bhagwant refers to divine grace, blessings and guidance; and the other motifs refer to the study of engineering and technology.
