The palmyrah tree refers to the common local tree, the computer and the phone refers to science and technology; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’.
