The emblem of Arul Anandar College (AACTNI) features a shield with brown outlines housing the images of a ears of corn, a star and a banner inscribed with the name and status of the college. A cross and ‘IHS’ crest the shield and a yellow banner inscribed with ‘Work Justice Love’ is placed below. A palm leaf supports the shield symbolising martyrdom supports the shield on the left. The cross refers to the college’s religious orientation; the ‘IHS’is the official seal of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits); the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the ears of corn refers to agriculture and its produce; and the star refers to knowledge, light and divine guidance.
