The pictorial depicts a rising sun with a mortarboard hat surmounted by a pair of banners inscribed with the name of the college management and its tagline ‘Enter Learn Earn’ and supported by an open book. The name of the college and its address is written on the right. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
