Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘கல்வி கரையில கற்பவர் நாள்சில’ (Verse 135, Chapter 14 Education, Naladiyar) meaning ‘Education is Not Limited; The Days of a Learner are Few’. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

LINGAYA’S VIDYAPEETH Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth was established by Lingaya’s Group as  a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. Lingaya's Institute of Management and Technology (LIMAT), an engineering institute, was established in 1998 with the approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The emblem of the university has a torch with orange flames on a silver colour base. Below this the name of the university is written in black thin fine serif font and below this its motto ‘Choose to Know’ is written. At the bottom two swooshes are placed.
