The wheel is supported by an open book and the initials of the managing Trust ‘AKLUJ’. The graduate with hat refers to educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes science, engineering and technology; and the colour signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
