The emblem of Vidyasagar College of Arts and Science (VCAS) features a Winkel Tripel projection of the globe supporting the motifs of an open book, a traditional lamp, a diagram of an atom, a computer, a hand writing and a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The motto of the college “You are the Light of the World’ is inscribed below the globe. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the book refers to  knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp  symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the other motifs refer to arts, science and technology.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu commenced in 1985. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. The gear wheel signifies interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the laurels signify victory and achievement, they are a reminder of the hard work and dedication that it takes to achieve success; map of India denotes its service to the entire India and to the world; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
