The blue colour emblem of Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Research Centre (GAMRC) features a pair of hands holding a Staff of Hermes entwined by a pair of serpents and sprouting a pair of green leaves. Glow rays emerge from the Staff and on a scroll placed below the hands the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’. The college’s year of establishment is written below. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The Staff of Hermes with a pair of entwined snakes and wings denotes medicine and medical profession; and the leaves symbolise life, growth and rejuvenation.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
