The emblem of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) features a light blue circle inscribed with the motifs of sun supported by a pair of serpents on the sides placed over a waterbody with a boat and ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college in yellow. On a banner, placed below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Work is Worship’ is written. The year of the establishment of the college is written at the bottom. The sun symbolises knowledge, enlightenment, and the source of all energy; the serpents are ‘Nagas’ flanking the sun in the context of the Scindia family symbolise protection, power and heritage; and the boat and waves symbolises the journey of life or the crossing of the ‘ocean of ignorance’ to the ‘shore of knowledge’.
