The emblem of Government Engineering College, Jamui (GEC Jamui) features a blue gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college housing the motifs of an open book and a traditional lamp and the year of inception of the college. The wheel is supported by a pair of laurels. A banner placed on the laurels is inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् परमम् ध्येयम्’ (Taittiriya Upanishad ) translating to ‘Knowledge is the Ultimate Goal’. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. It has eight red colour glow spikes. It is placed above a circle with a red outline. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘सिद्धिर्भवति कर्मजा’ (Shlok 12, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Success is Born of Action’ is placed above the monogram and the name of its place is placed below. INDIA POST PAYMENTS BANK LIMITED India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) was set up under the Department of Post, Ministry of Communication with one hundred percent equity owned by the Government of India on January 30, 2017. The bank's tagline is 'Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwaar'. The logo of the bank has a red circle superimposed by three parallel yellow strokes in unequal lengths flowing freely, upwards. The red dot denotes the hub of the bank and the parent organisation - Department of Post and the yellow lines denote its reach to each and every household providing them banking services. Yellow represents warmth, speed and light. The strokes denote speed, efficiency and quality service. AT the right of the motif, its name is written in red serif font, the serifs of which face left. The typeface is trendy, clean and crisp. At the bottom of this its tagline is written in brown.

RV University is a State private university which has been established in Karnataka State with RSST as the sponsoring body through Act No.11 of 2019.
