The red colour emblem of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology and Science (LNCTS)  features a red circle housing a white shield inscribed with the motifs of a transmission tower, electrical tower, a water dam, a factory, a gearwheel and a sine wave. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
