The blue and black emblem of Institute of Engineering and Science IPS Academy, Indore (IES) combines a stick-figure and geometric styling to symbolise a balanced, holistic education. The core geometric symbols include a human, a book in its hand, a torch with flame in another hand, and a moving wheel on its toe. The name of the college surmounts the pictorial and its motto ‘Knowledge,Skill, Values’ supports it. The book held in the figure's right hand represents the pursuit of formal knowledge, academics and lifelong learning; The flaming torch held high in the figure's left hand represents enlightenment, truth, leadership and the act of guiding others out of darkness: the wheel placed at the base of the structural frame, it symbolises sports, physical health, agility and the constant dynamic movement of progress and the line infrastructure beneath the wheel signifies a solid, grounded platform or a running track, emphasising forward momentum and progress. The star-like interlocking lines of the stick figure’s torso and legs form interlocking triangular geometric shapes creating a human figure standing strong and stable, reflecting the multi-dimensional development of a student.

UTTARAKHAND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT BOARD Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) is the highest body to advise the Government on all matters relating to tourism in the State. The logo of the Board is based on Devanagari letter ‘उ’ drawn using four swooshes, in which the cyan represents the mountains, blue represents the rivers, red represents the temples of the land and green represents the forests. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
