The emblem of Ujjain Engineering College, Ujjain (UECU) features the motifs of a dam of water, a dish antenna, a computer, a gearwheel, a chemical vessel and an electrical transmission tower. The circle is ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a white banner the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is inscribed. An open book is placed below the banner. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
