The yellow and orange emblem of Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (SRIEIT) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college and ‘RIT’ and housing the motifs of a traditional lamp, an open book, a diagram of an atom, a microscope and a dish antenna. Below the gearwheel, on a decorative panel the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्वलितो ज्ञानमय: प्रदीप:’ (Dhyana Shloka, Bhishma Parva, Mahabharata dedicated to sage Vyasa) meaning ‘The Lamp of Knowledge has been Kindled’ and its year of establishment are written. The tagline of the college ‘Empowerment Through Technology’ is written at the bottom. The gearwheel technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.
